Honeyed, candied #kumquats. Half a cup of water a cup of sugar (replace up to half with honey), a couple of handfuls of kumquats, halved or quartered and seeds removed. Dissolve sugar, add kumquats, boil for about 30 minutes, then bottle in sterilized jars. For longer life, use a water bath. Keep opened jars in the fridge. Use in desserts, salads, and for a sweet marinade or cooking sauce for meat or fish. #wp #recipes
